We ask that all children wear our school uniform and encourage them to maintain a good standard of clean and tidy dress in school. Please label all items of school uniform.
School Uniform
- Green sweatshirt, cardigan or fleece.
- White polo shirt, shirt or blouse.
- Plain grey or black trousers, shorts or skirt/pinafore dress. Green check/striped dresses may also be worn.
- Grey, green, white or black socks or tights.
- Plain black school shoes (not boots or trainers).
PE Kit
Every child will need a PE kit in school to wear for every PE lesson.
- Black/navy shorts
- Plain white T-shirt or a green St George’s PE t-shirt
- Black/navy tracksuit bottoms and a warm top for cooler weather.
- Sports trainers
Accessories and Jewellery
Hair accessories such as slides, ribbons, bobbles, etc, should be fairly simple and in school colours. Hair style should avoid being extreme in style and we ask that children do not have their hair dyed/coloured. Children must not wear makeup.
Children are allowed to wear one pair of plain, small stud earrings in the lobe of each ear. We ask that children remove these themselves before PE lessons. If they are unable to remove them independently, we ask that they do not wear earrings on PE days please. Should earrings not be able to be removed at all, children will need to cover them themselves using plasters or tape, although this would be the final option.
Watches may be worn but these must be removed for any PE activity. Smart watches or any other type of watch that can access the internet may not be worn. Discreet items of jewellery which have an important religious significance may be worn – but only after a letter has been written by parents asking for permission. No other jewellery is allowed.
Please note that the school will not take responsibility for any jewellery that is lost or damaged.
Purchasing School Uniform
Uniform and sports kit can be bought at any school uniform shops, including high street stores and supermarkets. Children do not have to wear uniform with our logo on it. However, if you would like your child to wear uniform with the St George’s logo on it, it can be bought from:

Please use this company for purchasing school uniform with our logo on it, there is no stock kept in school. Stock will be kept at the shop for parents to purchase if they wish. There is a charge for home delivery, but there will also be an option for parents to have uniform delivered to school free of charge. A voucher code will be needed at checkout for this. Items ordered online can be posted back to the shop address or exchanged instore if needed.

Please note that we regularly run second-hand uniform sales in school for parents. If you would like to donate good quality uniform for us to sell at these events, please drop it off to the school office.
