This week we have launched our Reverse Advent Calendar. We do this each year at St George’s to support our local community and to teach the children that Advent is not just about having chocolate in our Advent calendars, but it is about helping others too.
The idea is that each day during Advent, people in our school community add items to the table. All donations will then be shared out to two local charities-Maninplace, who we support throughout the year, and The Lion’s Club Hamper Appeal. All donations will go via these charities to people in need within our own community.
Children can bring items into school (food, toiletries etc) from now until Wednesday 15th December. Thank you so much for your continued support.
