Maths Trail

Year 4 really enjoyed the maths trail!

Football Day reminder

This is just a reminder that tomorrow is ‘Football Day’ at St. George’s.

Children can come into school dressed in sports mufti. (Mr Richards will be in his favourite Man Utd kit!) They will also get the opportunity to play a football match on the field. As the field is still a little muddy, the children will need a change of kit and footwear for this.

Year 4’s time slot for their football match is at the start of the day so we recommend that children come in to school in their change of kit (clothes that they don’t mind getting muddy) and then can get changed into their sports mufti after their match.

Digital Family Prayer Adventure Maps

Year 4 children have brought home these lovely leaflets.

‘Thy Kingdom Come is a global initiative, in which Christians are called to pray for the nine days between Ascension and Pentecost. We are invited to pray for God’s Spirit to move within the church, equipping us to share God’s love with others and to pay attention to how God is speaking to us today.’ CPO Website

St. George’s day – Friday 23rd April

Good afternoon,

On Friday, we will be celebrating St George’s day. The children can come in to school dressed in mufti in the theme of red and white. They will be doing lots of lovely art activities throughout the day and having a class tea party in the afternoon.

Many thanks,

Year 4 team.
