Malinsgate Police open day.

The police are running a local Open day for all ages on the 15th September. Talk to various officers and learn so much about what they do! Free for all ages.

Summer Athletics Festival

Please see below, there is an Athletics Festival taking place on the 27th July 2024, open to all young people. The venue is Telford Athletics Stadium.
Recommended age is 7-12 years old but there is no cap!

Water Safety.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service are running a 2-week Water Safety Campaign starting on Monday 29th July. Please read the poster below on the water safety code so you can stay informed.

World War 2 – The Blitz

As part of our current history topic on World War 2, we learned all about the Blitz over the major cities. We discussed the use of shelters, air raid sirens, the evacuation of children and measures to stay safe at this time. We then looked and recreated the iconic photograph of St Paul’s Cathedral using pencil, charcoal and watercolour. Year 6 are thoroughly enjoying learning all about this time.

Leavers Hoodies in Year 6πŸ‘ŒπŸ˜πŸ’–

Year 6 were very happy to receive their new leavers hoodies today.Β  We think that they look very smart and extremely grown up! What a lovely reminder of their time here at St George’s.

Football Fun! ⚽⚽⚽

We have had a wonderful, exciting afternoon competing in the year group football tournament. Not only did we show great skill, but also great teamwork and sportsmanship. 🀩🀩🀩
