Lesson: Understand doubling
Today we are going to be looking at doubling numbers.Β Doubling means βadding the same number twiceβ.
Double 2 means 2 + 2. Look at these doubling posters to help you.
Today we are going to be making doubling ladybirds π
You will need scissors, the ladybird template and a split pin. Use the template on the document below for your head, body and wings. On the wings, you need to draw the same amount of dots of each side. Cut up the middle to make the wings separate. Then, write the number to show the answer on the bottom part of the body. Use the picture to help you create them.
