Year 6 Hello Yellow 🌞🌻

We have had a wonderful day celebrating ‘Hello Yellow’ and raising awareness of mental health and wellbeing. Year 6 classrooms have never looked so bright and happy!

Well done to all the children who participated in wearing yellow and creating positive aspirations that were shared with their peers. 🥰

SATS Countdown! 📖⌚📅

Only 6 days to go!

Just a reminder that the children will be sitting their SATS next week. They will begin on Tuesday (9th) after the bank holiday and finish on Friday (12th).

We have spoken to the children about being prepared and have advised them to: get plenty of sleep; eat breakfast; arrive at school by 8:45am (latest) and to make sure that they also have their water bottle each day.

They have been completing ‘quizzes’ each morning this week and we couldn’t be prouder of the effort, perseverance and enthusiasm they have shown. 🥰

UK Birds 🐦🦉

This week, the children had the opportunity to learn more about the world around them and researched British birds. They thoroughly enjoyed the activity and produced some beautiful, fact-filled pieces of work.
