5TP Ukuleles

5TP started our block of 10 weeks of ukulele lessons this morning!

The children enjoyed learning different strumming patterns 🙂

Year 5 Skipping

Year 5 were the first Year group to have a go at Skip2BFit earlier this week. They listened carefully to the instructions and everyone had a really good go at this tricky skill! Children have also been practising at lunchtimes! Keep up the good work Year 5.

Year 5 Recycling Homework

PE in Year 5

Year 5 spent a lovely, sunny afternoon on our beautiful field learning some cricket skills. We tried our hand at bowling, fielding and batting. Great work Year 5!

Year 5 Girls’ Cricket Tournament

These Year 5 girls made some fantastic progress during a cricket tournament today. We are so proud of their attitude and willingness to give a completely new game a good try! We even hit some 6s!

Year 5 Lifecycles Walk

On Friday afternoon, Year 5 took a stroll around a local lake to look for evidence of lifecycles. We saw lots of examples of plant lifecycles, ducks sitting on their nests and even some fluffly baby ducklings! All children were incredibly well behaved and thankfully it didn’t rain!

Nursery and Year 5 Buddy Reading

This afternoon, Nursery children ventured all the way over to a Year 5 classroom to read with some of the Year 5 children. It was great to share books with a buddy!
