Eco Warriors 🌍

We are very excited to announce that we have formed a new ‘Eco Warriors’ committee, the children have been chosen and we are really looking forward to getting started with some projects. We are going to be meeting regularly throughout the year to create an action plan to help keep our school as eco friendly as possible! We will be sharing some top eco tips very soon. 🌍

Tudor Homework

Claude Monet

This term in art Year 3 are looking at the work of Claude Monet, this afternoon we found out some facts about him and had a go at creating our own artwork in his impressionist style.

Christingles

Today the children in Year 3 have all enjoyed making a Christingle which they will be bringing home. They learnt about what each part represents, I wonder if they will be able to tell you about it at home? 😊

STEM equipment

Lego Duplo Education: which kits for your classes and schools? Inventor Girl Meccano/Erector | Super Construction 25-in-1 Motorized Building Set (16214) | Build #5 - YouTube

As part of our STEM curriculum we are looking to introduce construction boxes in each year group, if anyone has any equipment at home that is no longer used eg. Lego, meccano, k’nex or duplo that you would be happy to donate please could you hand this to your class teacher, any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Also, if there are any parents with any STEM experience (eg. engineers) that would be interested in sharing their expertise with the children in school please contact the school office, we would love to hear from you. 😊

Careers Day!

We have all had a fantastic day in 3, it has been lovely to see the children dressed up in their dream job outfits and to see such a range of jobs too! We have really enjoyed learning about different jobs and the skills each one requires. Well done everyone! 😊
