RAF Cosford Museum Educational Visit ✈

Our Year 2 children had a fantastic time at the RAF Museum in Cosford on Tuesday! The children participated in a helicopters and parachutes workshop and a rockets workshop. The STEM activities on offer linked nicely to the children’s current Travel and Transport topic in History.

Year 4.5 Football ⚽

Our Year 4.5 footballers absolutely loved their 5-a-side football match at Grange Park Primary School last night. It was a brilliant end-to-end match under the floodlights on their 3G playing surface. Thank you Mr James for hosting and refereeing.

Design a Watch Competition

A ‘Design a Watch’ competition has been launched today in school with a number of analogue watches on offer as prizes for the winning entries. Please ask your child’s class teacher for an entry form if your child would like to enter. Please can completed entries be handed in to Mrs Morris or Mr Porteous by Wednesday 23rd November. Year 1 & 2 Disco 🎶

Our Year 1 and 2 children had a great time at our school disco on Tuesday evening. Like last year, the snow foam cannon proved to be very popular!

Year 3 Times Tables Rock Stars Club

Mr Porteous and Mr Richards were absolutely thrilled with the attendance of 36 Year Three children at this evening’s Times Tables Rock Stars after-school club. There are still a number of places available at the club. Please contact the school office if your child would like to join the club.

Airport Experience ✈

Thank you so much to Mrs Bradburn, who is a member of our office staff, who previously worked as a Cabin Crew Leader for Monarch Airlines. Mrs Bradburn very kindly dug out her old uniform and helped to give our children of the experience of going to an airport and boarding an airplane. Our Year 2 children’s History topic is ‘Travel and Transport’ and they will use what they have learnt today to write a set of instructions in their upcoming English lessons.

Fruit Kebabs 🍓🍋🍉

Mrs Humphries’ Nurture Group had a fantastic time making fruit kebabs this week which they were able to take home to eat.

Barack Obama

As part of Black History Month, our Year Two children have done a fantastic job producing a piece of art work based on the former American President Barack Obama.

Indoor Athletics Competition ?

Our Year 2 children had a fantastic time at the Telford and Wrekin School Sports Key Stage 1 Indoor Athletics Competition. The boys and girls absolutely loved travelling to the venue in style in a minibus and came in third place overall.
