Special Mentions Assemblies

Well done to all the children who received a Special Mention this week. It was lovely to have so many parents and carers in school to celebrate the children with us.

Spring Raffle Prizes

Here are just a few of our fantastic raffle prizes. Thanks to the PTFA for securing the donation of a giant egg from Magna for us! Raffle tickets can be bought this week and up until 9am on Tuesday 19th March.

Word, music and question of the week

Word of the week: estuary. Where a river meets the sea.

Music of the week: ‘Baba Yetu’ by Alex Boyé and BYU Men’s Chorus.

Red Nose Day Friday 15th March

Don’t forget it is Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March. This will be a non-uniform day where children are kindly asked to bring in £1 for the charity please, as long as your family can afford to do this. Children can wear whatever makes them happy and we ask that you please do not go out and buy anything special for the day.

We are in the process of working with BBC Radio Shropshire again to do something special in school on the day. This event will be football themed so if children have football kits they could wear on the 15th that would be great, but not necessary if that’s not what they are in to. Thank you for your support!
