Easter Egg Appeal

Two of our lovely pupils, Ida and Eliza, are collecting Easter eggs for a food bank and we have said we will try to help by asking our school community for donations. If you feel you are able to donate an egg of any sort, please drop it into your child’s class or the school office by Friday 15th March please. Thank you!

Word Book Day 7th March 2024

World Book Day is on Thursday 7th March.
Don’t forget children can come to school dressed as a book character if they would like to but PLEASE don’t go out and buy expensive outfits for the day. Alternatively, children can come in their PJs/comfy clothes, or can come in their normal school uniform.
All children are also welcome to bring their favourite book from home but please make sure their name is in it.

Special Prayer

We give you our school.
We give you all the teachers and staff who work here,
We give you all the children who study here.
We pray our school would be place of great discovery,
adventure and creativity.
May it be a place where we love to learn and where we
learn to love,
A place where every one is respected and all are deeply
valued.
We ask all this through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Family Hubs For Support

Telford & Wrekin Council has opened its third Family Hub in the borough which offers free help and support to residents who are navigating their way through parenting.

The latest Family Hub to open is The Oak which is located at The Wakes in Oakengates. The council also has two other hubs open in the borough: Silver Birch Family Hub in Sutton Hill and Walnut Family Hub in Woodside. Each centre is open Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm. The hubs offer a single location for families to visit to get information, guidance, and support on a range of services, including infant feeding, mental health, healthy lifestyles and parenting classes. In addition to the physical Family hub, information and support is also available on the council’s website at www.telford.gov.uk/familyhubs.
