The nursery children have looked after their planted bulbs brilliantly, they have made sure they have the right amount of water, warmth and light with a little comfy soil bed to ensure their plants flourish. The children have loved the responsibility of caring for them and observing how much they have grown, they are developing fabulous gardening skills and cannot wait to see when their flowers bloom! As the children have now taken their plants home to care for any photos showing plant growth can be added to their Tapestry account, we would love to see them in nursery to share their success with their friends.

Over the last week in nursery we have all worked as a team to make our classroom festive. We have developed our scissor skills and colour recognition by making paper chains to hang around the classroom and all had great fun decorating our nursery Christmas tree!

In nursery we have been learning about all of the people who help us out of school, in the wider community. We have thought of many people including our family members, doctors, nurses, dentists, mechanics, public transport drivers, construction workers, police and many more. We then painted pictures of some of the wonderful people we had thought of.

This week in nursery we have been thinking about the people who help us in school, we thought of lots of people including cleaners, caretakers, cooks and senior leaders. After writing down all of the wonderful people that help us we painted cards and made tissue paper flowers to say thank you.
