Nursery love penguin PE!

Nursery loved being penguins in PE this week. We warmed up to a penguin action song, then each had a bean bag egg to try and waddle with on their feet, it was very tricky! When the bean bags were put away the children were swimming penguins while the adults were whales trying to eat them! The only place the penguins were safe was on the iceberg mats. They had a brilliant time swimming to safety and lots of fun!

Christmas in Nursery

This week in nursery we have been getting ready for Christmas. We have had a wonderful time making cards, decorations, reindeer food and playing traditional party games. We would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and cannot wait to see all of the children in the New Year!

Nursery have given Mr Skinny Legs a fond farewell for Winter!

This week we have had a spider week in nursery. After noticing our spider was looking tired and didn’t really want holding the children decided he should stay in the shed for winter. Throughout the week we have carried out many activities to create our own spiders using paper, paint, crayons and clay!

There are hundreds of titles available, starting from just £2.99! All books sold will contribute towards earning free books for school 😊

The book fair will be open in the large hall after school on these days. Your child will have the opportunity to look around the book fair during the school time. If you are unable to attend the book fair in person, your child can bring a wish list home: you can then select a book, make an online payment and your child can collect their book from the fair the following day.

We look forward to seeing you there! 😊
