Seven Trent Assembly

On Monday we had a visitor from Severn Trent. He came to talk to us about the clever sewer system and how we can help protect the environment.

He started off by talking about where the water comes from and he used some children from the audience to demonstrate how the water is cleaned. Then he moved on to where the dirty water goes. Finally he played a game with the children called ‘Don’t be a blocker, be a binner’ where the children had to identify which items can be flushed and  which cause blockages!  They also learned a song called the 3 P’s song which reminded them what can be flushed down the toilet.
