Year 1 Tricky Word Spellings

Here are the Year 1 tricky words. These are words that can’t be sounded out. Year 1 children should be able to write and read them by the end of Year 1. Please practise reading & writing them at home with your children (they are also on the inside page of the homework books).

Any questions, please email the Year 1 Team at year1team@stgeorgesschool.org.uk

Many thanks,

Miss Hedges, Miss Morgan & Mrs Blair 😊🌞
