Year 5.6 Football

We are very proud of our team of Year 5 and 6 footballers who participated in the Telford and Wrekin School’s Football Association U11 competition on Monday at TCAT. The team played four matches, winning two, drawing one and losing one.

Roald Dahl Celebration Day

Today we celebrated National Roald Dahl Day.

The children read the funny poem, The Dentist and the Crocodile written by Roald Dahl and designed a book cover in the style of Quentin Blake imagining that the poem was being published into a story book. We all had great fun being illustrators for the day.

Well done Year 5!

What a fantastic church service to celebrate the wonderful year we have had. We are all so proud of each and everyone of you!

This year you have all achieved so much and it has been amazing watching you all grow and mature.

Judaism ✡️

This morning we took part in a virtual workshop with a lovely lady called Ruth. Ruth is Jewish and she taught us lots about Judaism. She showed us many religious artefacts, taught us how to say some words in Hebrew and spoke about the history of the religion. All of the children behaved impeccably and asked Ruth some excellent questions.

Last night, the Year 5 children performed ‘Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat’ at Telford Priory School. We are so proud of each and every one of you! You sang, danced and acted your socks off! We definitely have some future stars in Year 5.
