Y5 School Of Rock at TPS🎸

Yesterday afternoon, we had a fantastic time watching Telford Priory School’s show for 2024- School of Rock! 🎸

Year 5 loved every minute and clapped and cheered the whole way through. A huge thank you to TPS for inviting us and we wish you good luck for your evening performances this week.

Y5 Hockey

Year 5 children have made great progress in their hockey lessons. The children played some excellent hockey matches and showed great team work!

French Breakfast Club

We had a lot of happy children at Breakfast Club before half term. Madame Sohier hosted a delicious French themed breakfast, with help from all the Breakfast Club staff. The children had the chance to read French magazines and play French games, too. Tres Bien!

Nursery and Year 5 Buddy Reading

This afternoon, Nursery children ventured all the way over to a Year 5 classroom to read with some of the Year 5 children. It was great to share books with a buddy!

Y5 Wizard of Oz

This morning, we had a lovely trip to Holy Trinity Academy to watch their performance of ‘The Wizard of Oz’. We all had a wonderful time and the children behaved beautifully. All of the children spotted past St George’s pupils which made it extra special. A huge thank you to HTA for the invite!

Deposit Day 💰

On Wednesday 6th March, we will be holding a Just Credit Union ‘Deposit Day’ at the school office. Between 8:00 and 8:30am and 3:30 and 4pm come to the school office with your child’s ‘Junior Savings Card’ and the deposit that they would like to make.

Y5 Wagamamas 🍜

Year 5 have had a wonderful trip to Wagamamas this week to look at foods from other cultures. The children tried some Japanese delicacies as well as prepare a tofu noodle dish which they then ate. Lots of children asked the chefs questions about their jobs and we now have lots of pupils aspiring to be chefs!
