Physical Features in South America

For those children who have enjoyed learning about the Americas, this Oak Academy lesson looks into the Physical Features of South America in particular.

You should already know the definition of a physical feature and a human feature, but this video reminds you at the beginning so you don’t need to worry if you’ve forgotten.

Some children will recognise these questions from Maths lessons on a Friday.

They focus mostly on the four number operations and act as a good test of your all round knowledge in maths.

Handwriting paper

We know some of you are working hard towards earning your pen licence. This paper may help you to understand how your letters should be sized compared to each other. Regular, lower case letters (such as a,e,v,m,n,o) should fit within the two blue lines, whereas descenders (g,q,y,) should touch the bottom red line and ascenders (l,t,h) should touch the top red line.

Crossword – Tricky endings

This crossword uses some of the words from the Year 5/6 spelling list which have tricky endings.
