Hello Year 6! π
Well done for a fantastic effort with your home learning this week! π We can tell that you are all working really hard and we are very proud of you π. You are doing an amazing job – keep up the great work everybody! ππ
This week (beginning 1st February) is Children’s Mental Health Awareness Week π₯° so our timetable is a little different this week. In the afternoons, one area of well-being is covered each day, and there are a choice of activities relating to these themes for children to choose from.
English lessons this week are all based around reading a book of your own choice and then completing follow-on activities. In maths, the lessons focus on area and perimeter. As with last week, some of the maths activities are labelled 1 star or 2 star. The 1 star activity is more straightforward than the 2 star; choose which activity you would like to do depending on how confident you feel. If you are super-confident, why not try the challenge activities?! β
The resources for each week are posted on both the News and the Homework part of the Year 6 website page. If you are unable to view the resources on the Year 6 ‘News’ section, it may be easier to navigate to the ‘Homework’ section instead, which is displayed at the top of the page.
Below you will find the timetable for Week 5 – remember that this is just a guide and you can be flexible with how you structure your learning! The links for BBC resources can be accessed directly from the timetable.
