Strategies for Practising Spellings at Home! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Regular spelling practise is of great benefit to children’s confidence and learning in English. Spelling practise does not take longย  – little and often works best! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Here are some ideas for spelling practise which will be lots of fun to try at home with your children.

Year 6 Spellings ๐Ÿ–‹

On a Friday, your child will be given a set of spellings to learn and practise at home โ€“ these are also regularly practised as part of our everyday lessons. They will then be tested on these spellings the following Friday.

Alongside these, the children are expected to learn the 100 words as set out in the National Curriculum. Please see the link below.
